It’s the month of May. And we get to celebrate special people in this world - Mothers.

​

If one were to define ‘Motherhood’ - it would be Love in its purest form. Unconditional love. Mother is the name for God on the lips of every child. The human heart was not designed to beat outside the human body and yet, each child represented just that — a parent’s heart bared, beating forever outside its chest.

​

So here’s another Yanni favorite of mine, which celebrates all mothers around the world. And ironically one of my Dad’s fav tune. This one is dedicating all Moms out there including mine - Joyce Dsouza

New Music Video - Until the Last Moment

​

One day When I was in high school in the mid 90s, quite a few friends came up to me and asked “Do you know the piano player -Yanni?” Or “have you seen Yanni’s concert on TV ?” I had no idea what they were talking about. Mind you majority of my friends had cable tv in their homes. Me and my family didn’t. But somehow a video tape got it’s way into my hands and when I saw that video tape…. Something happened !!

​

I felt captivated for the ‘second time’ in my life (first time was after watching Michael Jackson on stage). Day after day, weeks, months on end… I watched that tape a few hundred times. (Thousands now) …. That video tape was ‘Yanni - Live at the acropolis’ . The music was mesmerizing and I felt like a magnet that could not separate myself from it. Eventually I started listened to the audio tapes and CDs of that concert. Ended up milking those tapes as well until the music became part of my DNA.

​

Fast forward to now… here I am composing, writing, arranging, performing and making music videos for the world to see. Trying to recreate that magical feeling I had and to share it with the world. I feel blessed to have Grown up in a home where my family nurtured me to the person I am today and I would not have been able to follow and chase my dreams without them and go on exciting adventures thru YouTube.

​

That’s what this song and video is all about. It’s all about LIVING life to the fullest. Yes we are surrounded by all the noise and distractions that the world bombards us with, but we can choose to turn off the sound and do the things that we are passionate about and bring us joy … and in turn bringing others peace and joy.

​

Brand New Music Video - The TITANIC Overture

The year was 1997, The date Dec 17th. One of the biggest selling movies in history was going to be released to the eyes of the world. A story about 4 characters. Jack, Rose, a really big Ship...And of course...THE MUSIC

​

Thanks to the great James Cameron, He was able to bring the grandeur and majesty of that Sailing vessel to life on the big screen. The scope, the detail, the planning that went into bringing this film to life was astounding even to this day. The movie studios called James 'crazy' even after proving to the world many times. But in the end, Titanic sailed on successfully into our REEL life to become one of the Biggest selling movies of all time.

​

And thanks to James Horner, the Music kept our spirits high and afloat even though the fate of that great ship was short lived. This is my simple homage to the culmination of that great event.

​

Probably a turning point in my self musical education, when I heard Metallica's 'Nothing else matters'. It was around this time when, unlike all my peers, I couldn't really connect to the music in the 90s, so i went backwards.

​

On its first release, this song was scorned at and the band was called a 'sell-out'. But little did people realize is that musicians when on the road, long for home. And thats what this song was all about.

I paired up this hit alongside another great hit from 1968 (Yes i went WAY back), A Ballad that needs no introduction, together weaving a heartfelt epic Power Ballad. I hope you like this rendition and you know the drill folks. Please do subscribe and help share

Possibly one of the most honest and influential songs of the decade. Have to give it up for Lauren Daigle for penning this beautiful prayer, song.

The moment I decided to record and film this tune I knew instantly that the Cello would be the instrument carrying it. And who better (and a big thanks to) than Tess Crowther. And to compliment her intertwining with her own voice is Emily Burak on Violin.

When we are young we are often asked "What would you like to become when you grow up?". The typical answers are the common careers we see of successful people. Engineers, Bankers, Doctors, Business, Accountant, Teacher...

While there is nothing wrong at all with any of that. Here is a thought.... how bout 'HAPPY' ??

I wrote this tune a few years ago for a documentary called 'Journey to Hope'. I later used it as a little filler music at the end of my many Youtube Videos. in the last 2 years I have had MANY people from various countries (no joke) who tracked me down thru facebook, youtube, website and email ... asking me where they could get their hands on this song.

Well I give you ELATION. A song written about something you would like to do in your life that would make you genuinely HAPPY. (available on iTunes, and amazon and apple music, spotify and available to tag on instagram and tik tok)

Happy Valentines Day everyone. Here is the music that encapsulates Love, Passion and Tragedy all wrapped up in one. Taken from the movie 'Romeo and Juliet' from 1968, the screenplay adaptation of Willam Shakespeare.

LOVE.... Every humans longing, every hearts desire. Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage. We are most alive when we are in love. The only thing we never get enough of is love; and the only thing we never give enough of is love. There is only one happiness in this life.... to love and be loved.
